All You Need Is George

For the first time in over 50 years, The Music of George Harrison tours North America!

An extraordinary ensemble of world-class musicians come together to celebrate the timeless genius of George Harrison. Their deep camaraderie and unmatched artistry shine through every note, driven by a profound love for Harrison’s music. From his groundbreaking years with The Beatles, to the lush brilliance of All Things Must Pass, through solo treasures like Any Road, and the magic of The Traveling Wilburys, this show is a journey through one of music’s most soulful legacies.

Jam-band legends Jackie Greene, Steve Kimock, Pete Lavezzoli, Reed Mathis, Berry Duane Oakley, and Gil Assayas unite for a once-in-a-lifetime celebration of George Harrison’s timeless legacy. Don’t miss it!

Jackie Greene

Americana and roots singer-songwriter Jackie Greene is a jack-of-all-trades, and an artist who can croon over soulful piano ballads as much as he can shred a bluesy guitar solo (like he did as the lead guitarist for The Black Crowes in 2013). Since the release of his critically acclaimed debut album 'Gone Wanderin’', Greene has built an enduring audience through a relentless touring schedule with the likes of BB King, Mark Knopfler, Susan Tedeschi, and Taj Mahal. He played lead guitar with The Black Crowes on their Layin’ Down With #13 World Tour, recorded and toured with Trigger Hippy - his supergroup with Joan Osborne - and in the last four years performed over 300 shows of his own, all while continuing to record and release his solo work. Greene is a frequent member of Phil Lesh & Friends, and sits in with countless other artists, including Tedeschi Trucks Band, Govt Mule, Mississippi All-Stars, Amy Helm, Steve Earle, and Bob Weir.

Steve Kimock

Steve Kimock has proven himself a master of fluid improvisation for over four decades, in the process inspiring music fans with his transcendent guitar speak voiced through electric, acoustic, lap and pedal steel guitars. With his multi-decade reputation as a blazing psychedelic guitarist, versatile enough to touch almost all aspects of American music, Steve Kimock continues to evolve creatively as illustrated in his last two critically acclaimed records, a romantic pop collaboration in Satellite City and an experimental solo effort in Last Danger of Frost. Kimock has toured and recorded with many Grateful Dead-themed bands, including Keith and Donna Godchaux's Heart of Gold Band (1979–80), Bob Weir's Kingfish (1986), Merl Saunders and the Rainforest Band (1990–91), Vince Welnick's Missing Man Formation (1996–97), Phil Lesh and Friends (1998–99), and The Other Ones (1998–2000).

Reed Mathis

Born September 27, 1976, Reed Mathis is a bassist, producer, singer, and guitarist who is best known for his 15-year stint as co-leader of the Tulsa progressive jazz band Jacob Fred Jazz Odyssey.  The Bay Area-rooted player has also notably worked with Grateful Dead members Bob Weir, Phil Lesh, Mickey Hart, and Bill Kreutzmann. He played with Steve Kimock Band and is a former member of Tea Leaf Green. In a feature article in Bass Player in September 2002, noted music author Bill Milkowski writes: "No other electric bass player around today has been as successful (as Mathis) at incorporating mind-blowing and mondo-effects into a personal voice on the instrument. The charismatic Mathis is freed up to soar into the high register and wail with impunity on his heavily effected bass guitar because Haas is holding down the basslines on the Rhodes."

Berry Duane Oakley

Surrounded by a familial community of noteworthy talent, bassist Berry Duane Oakley developed his deeply ingrained love for music. As the son of The Allman Brothers Band’s founding bass player, the late Berry Oakley, and with stepfather Chuck Negron (Three Dog Night), Oakley’s musical calling seemed preordained. He first met Devon Allman and Duane Betts as a teenager during The Allman Brothers Band’s 1989 Dreams tour. Often, Oakley sat in with the Rock and Roll Hall of Famers, laying the foundation for his prolific and successful career now entering its fourth decade. Berry played bass & sang in the first 2 reunions of The Doors with his godfather, Robby Krieger, John Densmore & Ray Manzarek. He leads his own skyrocketing & acclaimed jam band, Live Dead & Brothers.

Pete Lavezzoli

Drummer Pete Lavezzoli combines old-school R&B backbeat with a progressive rock and jazz edge. In the words of Grammy-winning producer/composer George Noriega: “I had the pleasure of having Peter Lavezzoli record at Cutting Cane Studios, and felt his unbelievable pocket first hand. Peter has that rare combination of skill, feel, and sensitivity. His playing is always just what is called for by the singer, the song, and the groove. Not too hot, not too cold. Pete’s drumming is just right.” Additionally, Pete is a respected music historian and award-winning author with two books to date, both published by

Bloomsbury Books of New York & London. The King of All, Sir Duke (2001) explores the legacy of Duke Ellington in modern jazz, rock, and R&B. The Dawn of Indian Music in the West (2006) (with a foreword by Ravi Shankar) tells the story of Shankar and Indian music’s impact on Western music.
