From Route 93 (North or South): Medford Square is easily accessed from Route 93.  Take Exit 32 for Rt. 60 West. At the rotary, follow the signs for Rt. 60 West into Medford Square.  Forest St. is a right at the second traffic light.

From Route 2 (East or West): From Route 2 take Exit 59 and follow the signs for Route 60 East.  Stay on Route 60 East through Arlington, and into Medford.  Route 60 goes right into Medford Square.  Forest St. is accessed from Salem St.  You will need to go around the Square and turn left at Medford City Hall and left again onto Salem Street to approach Forest St. There is no left turn from Route 60 onto Forest Street, so you will need to go through Medford Square, stay in the left lane, take first left at Medford City Hall, left again onto Salem Street and then right at the light onto Forest Street.

Public Transportation:


Medford Square is on several bus routes that easily connect to the MBTA trains.  To find the most up to date bus information to Medford Square, please visit the MBTA Web site.

From Davis Square take bus #94 or #96

From Harvard Square take bus #96

From Sullivan Square take #95 or #101

From Wellington Station take #134

From Malden Center Station take #101


via Amtrak Commuter Rail:

The HAVERHILL commuter rail line stops at Malden Center where you can transfer to the #101 bus to Medford Square.

The LOWELL commuter rail line stops at West Medford where you can transfer to the #94 or #96 bus to Medford Square.

The Chevalier Theatre


The Chevalier Theatre is located in Medford Square.  There is plenty of on street parking (Free after 6pm) and municipal parking lots within a few blocks of the theater.  Click on Map for a larger view of parking and bus stops or click to download as a PDF.  


The Chevalier Theatre has 3 handicap parking spaces and there are several on-street handicap spaces in Medford Square

The theater has an elevator at its side entrance for handicapped access to the performance hall (orchestra and balcony seating) and restrooms.


Before or after the show, Medford Square offers a number of delicious dining options within easy walking distance from the Chevalier Theatre. Something for every palate!
